spouse visa/citizenship

hi, i'm new to this posting thing, and was hoping one of you very lovely people will be able to shed some light on the following....

 

i'm an aussie, my OH is scottish, and we have two girlies (5&7) My intention is to apply for citizenship for the kids, and put in spouse visa app for OH. My question really is, is this the best way to go about it?

 

Is it a waste of money to pay for the girls citizenship, when they can be added to the spouse visa? Will i have to pay for them to have meds etc if they are already aussie citizens?

 

My head is going round and round!!

Im in the same boat as you and we where told to do a spouse vise for my hubby and as for the children i was told to apply for their Citizenship,( and not to include them in the Spouse Visa ) which we have done, its the quickest way! If you want, i can give the name of the Visa Agent that is dealing with ours and she will be able to help you with any questions that you or your husband might have!
